TWIN Was founded in the year 2000. a regional-based local non-governmental organization committed to women’s freedom, human dignity and self-reliance.
TWIN exists to serve young women, girls and children victimized by sexual exploitation, oppression, lack of opportunity, injustice and violent conflict within the conflict and post-conflict countries.
TWIN envisions, women and children living freely in peace, in respect of their rights and dignity.

In 2007, Emily received the Women’s Refugee Commission’s Voices of Courage Award. She was honored for her courageous and heroic efforts in the face of adversity and tireless work in promoting livelihood opportunities in conflict situations in Guinea. She served on the board of directors of Women’s Refugee Commission from 2009 -2013. New York USA
